From the history of space technology: Intercontinental ballistic missile (SS-18 Satan)

A military missile that was manufactured in the USSR R-36M (SS-18 Satan).The first launch of an R-36M took place in 1973. Later, rocket R-36M was modernized and used for commercial launches by Ukraine and Russia, called “Dnipro”. In total from 1995 to 2015, 21 successful civilian launches of the ballistic missile “Dnipro” were made [1]
